Garden Route Whale TrailGarden Route Whale Trail Mossel Bay is located on the Garden Route Whale Trail. Our seaview rooms and balconies offer you an ideal viewpoint to observe Southern Right Whales (May to October); humpbacks (May to December) and dolphins (almost all-year). Boat based whale watching trips are available from July to October. The whales are usually located quite near the beach - just behind the breakwater, since they prefer the calm waters of the Bay during calving season. Bryde's and Killer Whales are also frequently seen.
