Rates are quoted in South African Rand and are subject to change without notice. All accommodation must be paid either before or on arrival. This is to ensure that our guests are not inconvenienced with checkout during busy mornings and also to avoid any confusion about room rates. No bookings are guaranteed until reservation is confirmed by payment of a deposit. All online bookings are subject to an e-mail confirmation.
Payment may be made via Credit Card or cash. Only bank guaranteed cheques will be accepted. Online payments are subject to our Privacy Policy. Refunds Rooms of Choice
Although every effort shall be made to provide you with the room of your choice, we reserve the option of room allocation. Should it be necessary to alter room allocation, for any reason, we shall endeavor to provide one with at least as good as facilities. Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to cancel any booking on any grounds we feel are necessary and will honor no liability by doing so. However, we will make every effort to find alternative accommodation for the guests, but we are not bound to do so. Breakfast Vouchers
You will be issued with Breakfast Vouchers upon arrival, after the bill has been settled. These vouchers can be used for breakfast at Delfino's Restaurant between 07h30 and 11h00am, or for lunch or dinner at one of the following restaurants: - Delfino's Pizzeria& Coffee Bar
- Kingfisher Seafood Restaurant
- Café Havana Cuban Restaurant
- Sea Gypsy Café
Parking Laundry
For your convenience laundry bags are placed in your cupboard. Please deliver laundry to reception. Laundry will be done within 48 hours and the bill will be for your account. Please do not hang towels or washing over the balustrades or decks. Keys
A refundable key deposit of R20.00 will be payable upon check-in. Keys must be left at reception during the day.
Swimming Pool
The premises contain an unsupervised, open pool which may be used at the guests' own risk. Children - No children under the age of 4 are allowed.
- Children must be under adult supervision at all times, especially around the open pool area.
- The guesthouse staff will under no circumstances supervise children.
- Children are not allowed to run around deck areas or passageways
General -
Bookings are for holiday purposes only and cannot give rise to a tenancy -
Persons occupying the guesthouse rooms may not exceed the number of persons indicated upon booking. -
During nights the front door is closed. Please use the back door to come and go as you please. Please remember to lock the door behind you and to remove the key. -
Please leave the guesthouse reasonable tidy and clean after use. -
Out of respect for all guests, noise must be kept down to a comfortable level and we request that there be silence in the house between 22h00 (10pm) and 08h00am -
Room Service and Wake-Up Calls are available on request. -
Please make use of the signs "Please Clean Room" and "Do Not Disturb". -
Please keep furniture, fixtures and fittings in the same state of repair and condition as at the beginning of your stay. In the event of any damage to furniture, fixtures or fittings, you may be held liable for the replacement value or repair costs. This includes damage to the pool area. -
The use of open fires and the burning of any candles or lanterns, in or around the guesthouse, will not be permitted. -
We operate a non-smoking policy throughout the guesthouse. You are welcome to smoke outside the house, where ashtrays and / or bins will be provided. -
No pets or animals, with the exception of guide dogs, are allowed on the premises. -
The use or sale of any illegal substance in the guesthouse or on surrounding property is not permissible. -
We reserve the right to eject a guest/guests from the guesthouse if they are not conducting themselves in an appropriate and / or acceptable manner to the building and/or other residents or staff. Domicilium Citandi et Executandi -
This contract is governed by the South African Law and the South African courts shall have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute between you and Point Village Guesthouse. -

We do not guarantee that prices supplied on this website will be error-free or that miss-pricing will not occur. -
We make no representation that the operation of our site or servers will be uninterrupted or error-free and we will not be held liable for the consequences of any interruptions or errors. -
You are not relying on any representation, guarantee or statement other than as set forth in this agreement or by another written agreement. The content available through this site is the sole property of the company or its advertisers, suppliers, partners or licensors and is protected by patent, copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. -
We do not warrant that this site will be lawful outside South Africa. If you view, access, submit or download materials to and from the site outside of South Africa, you will be solely responsible for all your actions and assume all risks. -

We will not be held liable for any loss, theft or damage of any personal belongings, cash, jewelery and or motor vehicles, however caused, during your stay at the Guesthouse. -
We will not be held responsible or accept any liability or issue any refunds, for occurrences resulting in loss of occupancy or personal injury caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as; faults in the electrical or plumbing installations, the breakdown of domestic appliances, invasion of pests, exceptional weather conditions, flooding etc. -
We reserve the right to decline accommodation to, or expel, any visitor for conduct, which, in our sole view, is inappropriate to the property, or to the comfort of any other visitor’s. -
In the unlikely event that we are unable to honor a booking, a full refund of all money paid will be made. We shall not be liable for further compensation. -
Whilst representations, both verbal and visual are made in good faith, they are only intended to give general guidance as to the character of the accommodation, they do not form part of any agreement with the Guesthouse. -
You are responsible for your own safety and well-being while in the Guesthouse. Liability will not be accepted for any injuries sustained on the premises. -
We will not be held responsible or accept any liability for injury to children, or their well-being while in the guesthouse. -
You acknowledge that the premises contains an unsupervised, open pool which may be used at your own risk. Children must be under adult supervision at all times. -
